Good morning to everyone present here. Today I am here to give a speech on Tourism Day and to speak out about the importance of tourism. As it was established by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), we celebrate it on September 27th every year, which aims to raise global awareness of tourism and its positive social and economic effects.

Tourism can be seen as a teacher, as also said by Lisa Ling: “The best education I have ever received was through travel”. Which marks the importance of tourism and connects it with education. Tourism teaches us about history, geography, and the environment through historical sites, animals, and wildlife. However, there are also negative aspects, such as the fact that tourism harms the environment and local culture due to overcrowding.
